Mission 1 · Continuing a first meeting
This is a review and application lesson where you recall and use what you've learned. Look at the meaning first and say it, then check the answer and pronunciation. In Vietnamese, the meaning changes depending on the tone. Pay attention to the marks above and below the letters and listen carefully. Xin chào is a basic greeting, but in actual conversations, people often add titles based on the other person's age and relationship. Tôi is a neutral ‘I’, bạn is ‘you’ mainly for people your age. Depending on age and relationship, you may use anh, chị, em, etc., so bạn is not for everyone. Korea is Hàn Quốc.
