Practice tone marks and vowel marks together. đặt phòng is to reserve a room, nhận phòng means to check in, trả phòng is to check out. hộ chiếu means passport. ạ adds politeness, but appropriate address and tone are also important. không hiểu means not understand, nói lại means repeat, viết ra means write. bạn is mainly used for people your age; change it to anh, chị, etc. depending on the person’s age and relationship. rồi here shows that you now understand.
